At Storepilot, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your Storepilot account and all data linked to it at any time.
1. How to request account deletion
Email us at care@storepilot.tech with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Please include the registered phone number for the account you want deleted so we can identify it. You may optionally include the registered business name to help us locate the account faster.
For your security, the deletion email must come from an account or device that we can match against your registered phone number. We may send a one-time confirmation message on WhatsApp before processing the request.
2. What data is deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently delete:
- Your account information (phone number, display name, device list, login tokens).
- Customer / supplier (party) records.
- Invoices, sale & purchase records and ledger entries.
- Inventory, products, categories and product images.
- Expense and cashbook transaction history.
- Cloud backups and any cached public-share links.
3. What data may be retained
We may retain a limited subset of data only for:
- Legal & tax compliance (e.g. invoice records that the law requires us to keep).
- Fraud prevention and abuse mitigation.
- Financial / audit obligations under applicable laws.
This retained data is securely stored in encrypted form and is never used for any other purpose — no marketing, no analytics, no resale.
4. Retention period
Any retained data is kept only as long as the applicable law requires (typically up to 7 years for financial records under Indian law) and is then permanently and irrecoverably deleted.
5. Time to process
We aim to confirm your request within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a final confirmation email once your data has been removed from our active systems.
