Is Storepilot really free?
Yes — and forever. The Free plan covers most kirana & small retail shops: 30 products, 10 categories, 50 customers & suppliers, 70 invoices / month and 100 WhatsApp reminders / month. Upgrade to Pro only when you outgrow these limits or want PDF export, Google Drive backup, advanced reports and removal of branding from invoices.
Does the app really work without internet?
Yes. Storepilot is offline-first: the entire database lives encrypted on your phone (SQLite). You can bill, take payments, view ledger, send a WhatsApp link via the share sheet — all without any internet. The cloud sync happens silently when you’re back online.
How do I sign in?
Enter your mobile number → we send a one-time password (OTP) over WhatsApp → enter the 6-digit code. No email, no password to remember.
Will my data restore on a new phone?
Yes. Install Storepilot on the new device, sign in with the same phone number, and the cloud copy restores in under a minute (depending on number of images). Pro users can additionally back up to their own Google Drive for extra safety.
How do customers pay me?
Every invoice you share contains a UPI link with the amount pre-filled. The customer taps it; their UPI app opens (Google Pay / PhonePe / Paytm / BHIM); they confirm; the money lands directly in your bank account. Storepilot never holds your money. If you prefer, you can also share the invoice as a PDF or via the public link storepilot.tech/i/{token}.
Can I send GST-compliant invoices?
Yes. Add your GSTIN in Settings → Business Profile. The app handles CGST/SGST/IGST per line item, prints HSN/SAC codes, and gives you a clean GST-format invoice you can print or share as PDF (Pro plan).
What does “Public payment / ledger link” mean?
From any invoice or party ledger, tap “Share” → we generate a permanent 16-character link like storepilot.tech/i/zPmvJjlyREqKt8Tw for invoices and storepilot.tech/p/AboSPNQfudQAdYxo for ledgers. Anyone with the link can view the data — no app required. Revoke the link any time from Settings → Public Links.
How are WhatsApp reminders sent?
We use MSG91’s verified WhatsApp Business API. You compose the reminder once (or use the default template), schedule it, and we deliver from a verified number on your behalf. No bulk spam — only customers who owe you money, only when you trigger it.
What is the Pro plan and how much does it cost?
Pro removes all limits and unlocks PDF export, Google Drive backup, advanced reports and removal of Storepilot branding on invoices.

What is the refund policy?
7-day refund on Pro purchases — email care@storepilot.tech with your Google Play order ID. The ₹2 intro month and pro-rata partial month usage are non-refundable.
Can I run multiple businesses on one account?
Yes. Use the business switcher at the top of Home to switch between businesses (e.g. main shop and wholesale arm). Each business has its own products, ledger and invoices.
Is my data safe?
Transport is HTTPS / TLS 1.2+. On-device data is in an encrypted SQLite database. Auth uses short-lived JWT access tokens stored in the device Keystore / Secure Enclave. Backups are encrypted at rest. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. Read the full Privacy Policy.
Is Storepilot available on iPhone?
We’re currently rolling out on Android first (the bulk of Indian small-business users). iOS is on the roadmap — drop us a note on WhatsApp and we’ll alert you when it ships.
Do you offer a desktop / web version?
Customers can already view shared invoices and ledgers in any browser via the public link. A full owner-side web dashboard is on the roadmap. Today, the mobile app is the source of truth.
